An article worth reading
I found this link over at Brandi's blog. I admit I've been concerned that the present financial crisis would be enough for Obama to slide into the White House in a few short weeks, but maybe the mostly liberal media will actually do some real reporting for a change... we can always hope.

Interesting article, but I have heard the info already this week from Neal Boortz and Rush Limbaugh.
It truly irks me to think I may have to help bail people out of mortagages they shouldn't have gotten because they cannot afford them.
When I hear this sort of stuff from Rush, it's just the normal kind of thing for him; when it comes from your regular reporters, that gets my attention. And hopefully the attention of others who may be straddling the fence.
I personally don't even have a mortgage, just can't afford it out in this part of the country on one income. But I put more blame on those who gave out mortgages they shouldn't have in the first place. Some people losing their homes have lost jobs due to cuts in workplaces and are good, decent people (many of them around here). If our country wasn't supporting some things they shouldn't be in the first place (if you get my drift and NOT meaning the war) we perhaps would not have such a debt issue.
If you really want to put the blame somewhere, put it on Congress who forced the mortgage companies to give out these bad loans.
